Hello, Fallbrook Students & Families,
What a week to be a Warrior! Friday night brought wins for football and field hockey, and our athletes represented Fallbrook with heart. Beyond the field, our AVID students headed out on their first college visit of the year, getting a real look at what the college experience entails. Students in our Digital Media and ROTC programs attended the Miramar Air Show, putting their knowledge and skills into practice at the event. Our FFA students also spent time with peers from other schools at a San Diego Section bonding event, building connections with students who share their interests and passions across the San Diego region.
This week is Homecoming Week, and it comes with plenty of activities to go with it. Spirit days, competitions, and celebrations are packed into every day, so encourage your student to participate! We will cap off the week with Friday night's Homecoming festivities at the football game, and the Homecoming Dance on Saturday evening.
October also marks the kickoff of College & Career Month. All month long, we will connect students with the supports they need to plan their next steps, starting with a FAFSA and college application support opportunity next weekend. Students will also have access to a trades fair, PSAT and ASVAB testing, and more. Keep an eye out for upcoming events and resources.
