eCampus Academy Update June 2025
Watertown Unified School District | June 2025
A Note from Principal Bull 🌞
As we close out another incredible year at our school, I want to express my deepest gratitude to you—our families—for your unwavering partnership, support, and belief in the power of learning beyond walls. This year, our students have demonstrated remarkable resilience, creativity, and growth, all while embracing the unique opportunities of a virtual learning environment.
Together, we've built a strong community rooted in connection, innovation, and excellence. Whether your scholar is graduating, transitioning to a new grade level, or just beginning their journey, know that each step forward is a testament to their hard work and your encouragement.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We are proud of all that we’ve accomplished together and look ahead with excitement to all that is yet to come.
As we move forward, we encourage you to nurture a love of reading at home by dedicating at least 20 minutes each day to reading. This simple habit can have a profound impact on your child's development and long-term success.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students on their journey of learning and discovery. Wishing you a joyful, restful, and safe summer.

Youth Summer Camps and Programs
Did you know that many colleges offer summer camps tailored specifically for students ranging from 5th to 12th grade? These programs are designed to provide young learners with unique opportunities to explore a wide array of career paths and interests in a collegiate environment. These camps cover diverse fields such as welding, coding, aviation, nursing, cooking, sewing, virtual reality, and many more. Each camp is structured to provide hands-on, immersive experiences that not only engage students but also inspire them to delve deeper into areas they are passionate about or curious to explore.
These summer camps are designed to be more than just educational; they aim to be enjoyable and memorable experiences. They allow students to meet peers with similar interests, work collaboratively on projects, and gain a sense of achievement from hands-on activities. Whether a student is exploring a potential career path or simply looking to try something new and exciting, these camps provide a supportive and stimulating environment. The skills and knowledge gained from these programs can spark lifelong passions, inform future educational choices, and even influence career decisions.

Dual Credit Options
Start College Now (SCN)
Start College Now provides an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit and high school credit at the same time. High school juniors and seniors are eligible to take classes during the Fall and Spring semesters. Tuition and books are paid by the school district. Contact eCampus for more information as deadlines do apply for each semester and can vary by Technical College.
Credits earned can by applied towards a degree at the Technical College and many other Wisconsin colleges.
Early College Credit Program (ECCP)
The ECCP statute allows Wisconsin public and private high school students to take one or more courses at an institution of higher education for high school and/or college credit. Under this section, “institution of higher education” means an institution within the University of Wisconsin System, a tribally controlled college, or a private, nonprofit institution of higher education located in the state. While technical colleges are not eligible institutions under the new program, pupils that have completed 10th grade will continue to have the option to take courses at technical colleges through a separate statute, 38.12(14).
Students MUST submit their ECCP applications (no exceptions) to their school by:
- October 1 for spring courses
- February 1 for summer courses
- March 1 for fall courses
Career and Accelerated Degree Pathways
Attention high school-aged eCampus students and families! Did you know that eCampus Academy offers a Career and Accelerated Degree Pathways Program? Students in Grades 10-12 can pursue a Technical Diploma or Associate Degree while enrolled in high school in one of 10 high-demand career areas. These online courses, in cooperation with Wisconsin technical colleges, will also count as high school credit in eCampus. Students in Grades 9-12 who plan to attend a four-year institution may complete up to 30 transferable college credits, putting them on a path to potentially graduate with a Bachelor's degree in three years from a University of Wisconsin System School.
The eCampus Academy Pathways Program saves students time and money while accessing high quality, future-ready learning experiences and professional programs. We're really excited about this opportunity for students.
