Now that the school year is starting up you will receive a Sunday email from me with information to best prepare you for the week ahead. I hope to be consistent and clear with my Sunday emails to you to best support you and your student! Your parent portal is officially open and you should be able to see your student's teacher. The teachers return to school tomorrow and will be working HARD this week to be best prepared to welcome your student back for the 22-23 school year. Your child's teacher will reach out to sometime this week and we hope you plan to stop by our Open House this Thursday!

Open House Truman Elementary

Thursday, August 18th from 6-7 p.m.

Student supplies can be dropped off, meet the teachers, nurse, finish enrollment, register for SACC, PTO involvement, and much more!

To make this event more personal for each student and their parents, we are staggering families into groups based on the first letter of each family's last name:

A-G: 6:00-6:20

H-O: 6:20-6:40

P-Z: 6:40-7:00

**Bring to Open House if possible - A copy of the most updated shot record should be turned in to the office/school Nurse as many shots are required by law. Special health conditions regarding your student should be reported through our Medical Information Form filled out during the above online registration process.

Our fall little league will be held for 3rd - 6th graders that are interested in improving their basketball skills and we also use this camp to evaluate players for our winter travel basketball teams. We will be hosting our little league at Pacific High School on Wednesdays, beginning August 31st from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. The rest of the dates/times are posted below, and the entry cost will be $50. Cheerleading Kiddie Camp will be on September 10th and will be performing at the varsity game on the 16th. A few PHS cheerleaders will be at a table during open houses to hand out the forms. With it being so soon after school starts they want to get this info out ASAP!
