โ€œAway during the day.๐ŸŽ’ After school okay.๐Ÿ‘โ€

Cell phones, smart watches, or any device that is used to communicate is considered a โ€œpersonal communication deviceโ€ (PCD). Students are not allowed to use or wear their personal communication device during school hours: regardless of the "mode" it is in. Students must place their devices in their backpacks before entering school, and they must be turned off once they reach the Walteria gates in the morning. If a student has a need to contact their family, they must ask Walteria staff member to use a district phone. Students should never use their device to contact a person off campus during school hours. If a student is wearing a device while on campus during school hours, a school personnel member can confiscate the device and parent/guardian will need to pick it up. It is important to note that any employee of Torrance Unified School District, are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping students safe and learning while at school. Our motto is, โ€œAway during the day and after school is okay!โ€

What to expect on picture day

  1. When an order is placed online, the parent/guardian will receive a camera pass via email. This can printed and sent with the student. The photographer will photograph the printed camera pass along with the student.
  2. If a student is not able to print their camera pass, that is not a problem. We will match up the student to their order manually in the production process.
  3. A parent may order from the flyer up until 24 hours after picture day. After 24 hours, the online ordering access may close. This will allow our imaging team to "Pull" all orders submitted and match them with the students photographed.
  4. When pictures are returned to school, all students that purchased pictures will receive their prepaid package. Any student that was photographed but did not order a package, will receive a "Proof" (PX) of their picture that was taken on picture day.

All proof packages offer parents a second opportunity to order prints. All orders are subject to shipping and handling costs of up to $8.50 and will be shipped directly to home
