WATCH THE RECENT SCS RENEWAL LEVY COMMUNITY CONVERSATION
Confused about some of the talk in the community regarding the renewal levy for Strongsville City Schools? A virtual "Community Conversation" was held earlier this week, with the opportunity to learn the facts and clear up some of the misinformation about this renewal levy on the March ballot. Dr. Cameron Ryba (SCS Superintendent), Mr. George Anagnostou (SCS Treasurer), and Mr. Richard Micko (SCS Board President) presented renewal levy facts and information. If you missed it, this Community Conversation can be viewed at www.strongnet.org/scs-tv. If you have further questions you would like answered about the renewal levy, please click HERE. Unified Sports
Unified Sports
Unified Sports is a teams sports organization that provides ample opportunity for students with special needs to participate in sports! For the last two years, we have built up our Special Education program to provide them with ample opportunities to compete with their peers from other schools. So far we have traveled to Rocky River, Westlake and Cleveland State with Copley and Case Western Reserve on the horizon. Just recently we were approved to take our students to a crossfit gym (Buddy Strong Academy) in Streetsboro that specializes for students with special needs.
We have hosted 4 events in the last two years, with schools now asking to come and watch how SMS organizes our events. Recently we were asked to become a Unified Sports National Banner School! Congratulations to our staff and students for this accomplishment and for creating great experiences for all of our students!
