The Little Judges Ledger
October 19 - October 23, 2026
Dear Virginia Avenue Families,
We wrapped up another great week at Virginia Avenue with our first quarterly PBIS celebration on Friday! Our Little Judges had a fantastic time using their hard-earned points to choose from a variety of fun activities. It was a beautiful fall afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of fun! We are so proud of our students for the positive choices they continue to make each day.
A quick note: We had a little technical difficulty with last week's newsletter link, and some families weren't able to access it. My apologies! We'll include a few of those important updates again this week so no one misses out. Thank you for your understanding!

π School to Home: Celebrating Growth
With first-quarter report cards coming home electronically this week, it's a great time to check in with your child about their progress. Remember, report cards are just one way to see how students are growing as learners!
After reviewing your child's report card, try asking:
β What are you most proud of accomplishing this quarter?
πͺ What is something you worked really hard to learn?
ποΈ What is one goal you would like to work toward next quarter?
π€ How can I help you reach that goal?
Celebrate effort and growth, not just grades! Help your child understand that learning takes practice, mistakes are part of growing, and every step forward is worth celebrating.
