I hope everyone had a fantastic week! Can you believe we’re just ONE week away from break?

Thank you for your dedication and service to our students. It truly makes a difference every day.

I also want to celebrate the incredible generosity shown by FTTC toward the families adopted this year. Dawn shared some amazing stories about how deeply people were blessed by the gifts everyone provided. THANK YOU, Dawn, for your leadership on this enormous endeavor!

We have developed a retirement planning information meeting to help our employees learn more about the benefits of the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System (TRS). Our target audience consists of three groups:

1. Employees who have never participated in a session to better understand TRS

2. Employees who are within two years of retirement

3. Employees who plan to retire this year.

This session will be on January 28th from 3:30pm-5:00pm in the Board Room. During our meeting, we will discuss preparing for income differences in retirement, health insurance considerations, and reviewing your projected income from TRS in retirement. Whether you are 30 years from retirement or 6 months from retirement, the information shared will be of benefit to you!
