Empathy Equity Respect Community
1. Please ask your class for prayer intentions and send them to Sarah.
2. On Holy Thursday, April 17th, the 8th grade will be doing the Live Stations of the Cross in the gym. Time to be determined.
3. 5% raises for school year 2025/26 have been approved.
4. Please RSVP by May 1st to Diana for the June 11th end of year party at Dryft.
5. Please read all the dates and reminders below, as they change weekly.
Dates
· Today, April 10th – Mass grades 2-8 at 8am
· April 11th
a. $1 NUT Day
b. Stations of the Cross with Mrs. Hanley for Grade 7, 8:50-9:35
· April 14th – Malden Catholic seniors start their 3 weeks of service hours at Cheverus. We have about 5-6 kids. Let Jaime or me know if you would like a student for any amount of time. They are here 1 week before April break and 2 weeks after.
· April 15th – Online Safety Program for grades 5-8 in the gym, 9am
· April 17th
a. Living Stations of the Cross
b. Holy Thursday early dismissal
· April 18th Good Friday – NO SCHOOL
· April 21-25 – April Vacation
· May 22nd – Band Concert 1pm
Reminders
1. If you are going to be out, please text me, your level coordinator, and the teacher you’re with (if applicable). Also, email Sarah and me. If you are working at EDP that day, please also contact Mary Beth.
2. Please don’t let people in the building. Please either walk them to the office or have them ring the bell.
3. Please give me paperwork for your 2 PDs this year as you complete them. They do not need to be through the PD Collab but, if they are not, please get them approved by me.
4. Please remember to ALWAYS send all students with a partner when sending them to travel throughout the building. This is important for all grades for student safety and so all students are always accounted for.
5. Please continue to stay out of the courtyard.
6. Per the Malden Fire Department:
a. We can no longer hang any paper on any doors in the building. This includes internal and external doors. This includes laminated paper. Please remove all paper immediately, if you haven’t already.
b. We can no longer prop any doors open. This includes doors leading to the stairwells from the hallways.
7. Lyric, the therapy dog, will be at school on the following days:
