Welcome!
Mascoutah Middle School Families,
I am thrilled to serve as your new Middle School Principal! Middle school is such an exciting and important time in a student’s life. My goal is to help create a school environment where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day. I believe strong relationships are the foundation of a great school, and I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families to make this an incredible year.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from McKendree University and my Master of Arts in Education Administration from McKendree University. I was a middle school math teacher for 10 years and also wrote 8th grade math curriculum for 4 years. I served as the Assistant Principal for Albers Elementary for 2 years and the Principal of Freeburg Elementary for 3 years.
Outside of school, I live in Aviston with my husband and our two children. They keep us busy with their activities, so most of our free time is spent cheering them on and enjoying time together as a family.
