Dear LHS Students / Parents & Guardians / Community:
As we close another successful school year at Littlestown High School, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to our entire school community.
This year has been filled with accomplishments, growth, and countless moments that reminded us of the strength and spirit of our Thunderbolt family. Our students have excelled academically, athletically, and artistically while demonstrating resilience, leadership, and pride in their school. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our outstanding teachers and staff, the support of our families, and the encouragement of our community partners.
To our students—thank you for your hard work, determination, and enthusiasm. To our faculty and staff—thank you for the passion and care you bring to Littlestown High School each and every day. And to our parents and community members—thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout the year.
As we celebrate the conclusion of this school year and recognize the achievements of the Class of 2026, we also look ahead with excitement and optimism for what is to come.
On behalf of everyone at Littlestown High School, I wish you and your families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. Take time to recharge, create lasting memories, and enjoy the well-earned break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall for another great year at LHS.
Go Thunderbolts!

STATE ENVIROTHON
Five students from Littlestown High School traveled to Camp Mount Luther in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, May 20th, to compete in the State Envirothon while representing Adams County. This marked the first time since 2015 that Littlestown High School had a team compete at the state envirothon competition. Competing against teams from 62 other counties across Pennsylvania, Adams County placed 36th out of the 63 counties participating. The students representing Admas County from Littlestown High School were Arianna Stonesifer, Brooke Wire, Kayden Welsh, Ben Hanna, and Ryan Hawver.
During the competition, students competed in several categories, including Oral Presentation, Current Issue, Wildlife, Aquatics, Soils, and Forestry. Each category involved multiple tasks related to the subject area, including written exams and identification activities. In Wildlife and Aquatics, students even had to identify bird and frog calls. In Forestry, students measured a tree, while in Soils they determined the texture of soil sample and had to answer different questions based on a soil pit they went into. For the Oral Presentation component, the team created and submitted a video presentation demonstrating their knowledge of the topic of non-point source pollution.
