Trail Blazer Bulletin April 4-11

Dear Trail Blazer Community
Last week, we experienced a deeply tragic event at the track meet involving students from neighboring schools. Our hearts go out to the families, students, and staff directly affected by this horrific incident. We understand that this has been a traumatic experience for many, including our own students and coaches who witnessed the events.
The District track meet was postponed and has been rescheduled for today at an alternate location. Our track team and coaches will be participating, and we extend our best wishes for a successful and safe meet.
In the aftermath of such a distressing event, it is crucial that we support our students in navigating their emotions and maintaining their well-being. We urge parents to be especially mindful of their children's exposure to social media. Misinformation and graphic content circulating online can be extremely triggering and detrimental to their emotional state. Please take the time to talk with your children, monitor their online activity, and help them "protect their peace" during this difficult time.
Our school counselors and support staff are available to any student who needs assistance. Please do not hesitate to reach out if your child requires additional support
National AP Week!
It is National Assistant Principals’ Week and here on the Trail we are so grateful for Mrs. Ford, Mr. Kaikai, Ms. Kelley and Dr. Roberts. This team of Assistant Principals truly knows our students by name and need, showing up to cheer for our students at their various activities, holding students accountable in ways that help them retain their dignity and helping them learn important life lessons. Please take some time to use this form to send them a shout out this week as we celebrate them!

Blaze Praise and Community Shout-Outs
At Lebanon Trail, we recognize students who exemplify FISD’s character traits through good citizenship and positive behavior. Blaze Praise shines a spotlight on those non-academic qualities that shape a respectful, responsible, and compassionate school community. A Blaze Praise nomination can boost a student’s confidence, reinforce the importance of good character, and enhance their overall school experience. Students are nominated for exemplifying one of our 4 Graduate Profile Pillars–Leadership, Innovation, Social Empathetic, and Driven by Values. The following students were nominated during the month of March. Congratulations Trail Blazers!
Similarly, staff members at Lebanon Trail are recipients of Blaze Praise awards in alignment with our Educator Profile. The 4 pillars of our Educator Profile are Achievement, Purpose, Leadership, and Character. The following staff members received Blaze Praise nominations in the month of March. Congratulations!
The following staff members received Community Shout-Outs in the month of March. Thank you for shining light on the awesome work our Lebanon Trail Staff are doing day in and day out. We appreciate your generosity!

Graduates may only wear FISD-approved graduation attire and regalia including the campus-approved cap and gown and campus-approved cords and stoles.
Non-FISD approved stoles, leis, cords and/or any other non-FISD-approved outerwear are not permitted at graduation ceremonies.
Caps and/or other FISD-approved regalia and/or attire may not be decorated or amended in any way that disrupts uniformity amongst graduates. For example, a student may wear their personal jewelry or a small pendant, but may not wear a jacket, shawl, etc. that would make the student appear distractingly dissimilar to their graduating peers.
- All items that don’t conform to the above guidelines will be confiscated when students check in at the Ford Center and it is the responsibility of the student to collect those items during diploma pick-up immediately following commencement ceremonies. Lebanon Trail is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
