Library Letters
The first nine weeks flew by, with the expected schedule changes, adjustments, and adapting. We have made it through the first nine weeks and have got our routine down!
Reminders:
*Students visit the library once a week. Elementary have a fixed schedule, secondary on Fridays.
*To encourage the return of borrowed library books each week, grades PK-6 earn stars for rewards if everyone in their class brings their books back for return or renewals.
*Each month brings a new reading challenge and a chance to earn a prize!
*Every student in grades PK-4 was given a book bag. Please don't throw them away, as they are used in the library and helps protect the library book. Grades 5-6 were encouraged to get one as well.
*Grades 7-12 - Please recharge your Chromebook every night so you are ready for class each day! And don't forget to visit the Library Lady on Fridays!
Normally this library lady discourages eating while reading because we all know books don't get hungry, but mold does, however to see a young man reading makes a heart happy.
Playing chess during the library specials, practicing our strategies, and celebrating the end of the first nine weeks.
YEARBOOK NEWS
Granger Families,
I’ve received a few questions about the yearbook, so I wanted to send out some information to help make the ordering process easier! Our Granger Yearbook covers students from Pre-K through Seniors! Even though our students are separated into different campuses, we make sure to include and celebrate all of our Little Lions throughout the yearbook.
Another question I’ve received is how to find the correct page to order the yearbook. When searching for our school on the Jostens website, you will need to search for Granger High School in order to find our yearbook site.
I will attach the link to our yearbook page below to make ordering as easy as possible!
Thank you for your support of our yearbook program and for helping us capture the memories of all of our Granger students!
