💙💛 Victor Elementary Weekly Message 💙💛

💙💛 Happy Sunday, Amazing Viking Families! 💙💛

Hello, November! 🍂🦃

Can you believe October has already come to an end? What an incredible month it has been at Victor Elementary! October was filled with excitement, school spirit, wonderful memories, and so many opportunities for our Viking community to come together.

From our successful American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge to our amazing Trunk or Treat celebration, Red Ribbon Week, and Halloween Parade, our students had so much to celebrate! None of these wonderful experiences would have been possible without the tremendous support of our Viking families.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! 💙💛 Whether you donated candy, volunteered your time, decorated a trunk, participated in school activities, or simply encouraged your child to get involved, please know that your support means so much to our school. It truly takes a village, and I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful community we continue to build together at Victor Elementary!

🍁🦃 November Is Here — Three Weeks of Learning, Fun & Viking Spirit!

Although November is a shorter school month, we have three exciting weeks ahead filled with learning, celebrations, and opportunities for our students to shine!

🏃‍♀️🏃 2nd Annual Victor Elementary Turkey Trot — Tentatively Monday, November 9!

Get ready, Vikings! We are excited to bring back our 2nd Annual Turkey Trot! Students will have an opportunity to participate in some friendly competition, show their Viking spirit, and race for some delicious prizes!

🥧 1st Place: A pumpkin pie for the top boy and girl runners in each grade level!

🍩 2nd & 3rd Place: Delicious doughnuts for our runners-up!

We look forward to seeing our Vikings cheering one another on, demonstrating good sportsmanship, and having a wonderful time! For information please see flyer at the bottom of this weekly smore.

💙💛 Exciting New PBIS Rewards — Viking Bucks!

We are excited to announce that we have added even more fun incentives to our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program!

Our students work hard every day to demonstrate what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe Vikings! Through their positive choices, students can earn Viking Bucks and redeem them for special rewards and experiences.

Some of our exciting new incentives include:

  • 🎲 Board Games with Our Community Liaison — A fun opportunity to enjoy games and build friendships!

  • ☕ Hot Cocoa Day — A warm and delicious treat for our hardworking Vikings!

  • 🛝 Extra Viking Recess — More time to play, laugh, and enjoy time with friends!

These are just a few of the new rewards we are adding to celebrate our students' positive behavior! We want our Vikings to know that their kindness, responsibility, hard work, and good choices do not go unnoticed.

🗳️🚨 November Safety & School Activities

Throughout November, we will continue prioritizing student safety while maintaining a positive and welcoming learning environment.

On Tuesday, November 3, Victor Elementary will serve as a community polling location. Families have already received detailed information regarding Election Day procedures, and we appreciate your cooperation as we work to keep our campus safe and secure.

We will also be conducting our regularly scheduled fire and earthquake safety drills this month. These drills help our students and staff practice important safety procedures and ensure that everyone knows what to do in an emergency.

🦃🍂 Thanksgiving Break — November 23–27, 2026

Important Reminder, Viking Families!

This school year, our students will enjoy the entire week off for Thanksgiving Break, beginning Monday, November 23, through Friday, November 27.

We hope this extended break provides our families with an opportunity to rest, recharge, create special memories, and spend meaningful time with loved ones.

📚💙 Every School Day Counts — Attendance Matters!

With only three weeks of school in November, every instructional day is especially important!

We kindly ask families to make school attendance a priority and ensure students arrive on time and ready to learn each day. Even during shorter months filled with exciting activities, our teachers continue providing valuable instruction, and every day in the classroom makes a difference.

When students attend school consistently, they build stronger academic skills, develop positive routines, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.

Let's work together to make every school day count, Vikings! 💙💛

💛 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Viking Families!

As we enter the season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to express how truly thankful I am for our Victor Elementary community.

Every day, I am reminded of how special our little school is. From the smiles on our students' faces to the dedication of our teachers and staff and the incredible support of our families, there is so much to be grateful for.

Thank you for trusting us with your children, for supporting our school events, and for being such an important part of our Viking family. Together, we are creating a school where students feel loved, supported, celebrated, and excited to learn.

Here's to a wonderful November filled with learning, laughter, gratitude, and unforgettable Viking memories!

❤️💙💛 Thank You, Viking Families! 💛💙❤️

What an incredible way to wrap up our American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge!

Thanks to the generosity and support of our amazing Victor Elementary families, we raised an outstanding $3,183.34 toward our $3,500 goal! That is nearly 91% of our goal! 🎉❤️

Although we didn't quite reach our goal, raising over $3,100 is an AMAZING accomplishment, especially for our small but mighty Viking community! Every dollar donated makes a difference, and we are so proud of what our students and families accomplished together.

🏆 A HUGE Congratulations to Our Top Fundraisers!

🥇 1st Place – J. Inn (Kindergarten)
Raised an incredible $814.93!

🥈 2nd Place – M. Jocol (2nd Grade)
Raised an amazing $804.13!

Let's give these two Vikings a HUGE round of applause for their outstanding efforts! 👏👏

💚 And Yes… Mrs. Berry Got SLIMED! 💚

To celebrate our students' hard work, 9 students and 1 adult had the opportunity to pour slime all over Mrs. Berry! And WOW… was that a slimy experience! 😂💚

It was definitely a moment I won't forget, and seeing the excitement and smiles on our students' faces made every bit of slime worth it!

❤️ From the Bottom of My Heart, THANK YOU!

Whether your family donated, shared our fundraiser, encouraged your child to participate, or simply cheered us on, you helped make this event a success.

Our Vikings didn't just raise money. They learned about kindness, generosity, heart health, and the importance of helping others.

We may not have reached $3,500, but we accomplished something even more meaningful—we came together as a school community to make a difference!

Thank you for always showing up for our students and making Victor Elementary such a special place.
