8th Grade Student of the Week

Cameryn Winterland

Congratulations to Cameryn Winterland for earning 8th grade Student of the Week! Her teachers had the following to say about her:

Cameryn has been a leader in class as far as leadership. She has all of her homework always completed in a timely manner and is a very creative student.

Cameryn is a great student and willing to do anything asked.

Cameryn is helpful, polite and respectful to everyone. Her peers look up to her and she demonstrates great leadership skills. She is pleasant to talk to and has a kind loving heart.

Congratulations, ! We will be recognizing a 9th grader next week.

Summer Camp Opportunity

This summer, the Whiteside Area Career Center will offer a Summer Trades Camp for students. The camp will run from July 12th through July 22nd and involve the Building Trades, Manufacturing and Auto Tech programs. The camp is open to incoming 6th graders through outgoing 8th grade students. AFC will cover the cost of the camp fee and provide transportation for any interested AFC students eligible for the camp. To register your student/s for the camp contact AFC Junior Senior High or Elementary School for registration documents and additional details. Below you will find a link with additional camp details.
