News from Mr. Duncan
What an exciting week! We had our Fun Run Kickoff assembly where we talked about the fundraiser, exciting incentives earned along the way, and the culminating event on September 18th! We also celebrated the artwork created by Mr. Brennan, our evening custodian here at Willowdale. The students were AMAZED that one of our staff members created such a beautiful work of art!
A reminder that students do not have school on Monday (Labor Day) and Tuesday. On Tuesday, we will be diving into data from fall assessments to analyze and intentionally plan instruction for each of our Wildcats. We will be ready to welcome back our students on Wednesday!

Sept 11th is the last day to pay for the Cooperative Loss Program
Cooperative Loss Program is basically "iPad insurance" in case something happens to the iPad, the repair cost is cheaper. This program is only for 3rd-5th grade students because they can bring their iPads home should they need it for homework. The cost to enroll in the Program is $15.00 and can be paid through ParentVue under Fees, or a check/cash, can be sent to the office.
The deadline to particpate in this program will be Friday, September 11th. After September 11th, the window to join closes and the fees will be removed from ParentVue.

Pictures will start right away, at 8:35, so please try to get to school on time. If you are absent for picture day, retake day will be on October 23rd.
