Tynes Weekly Updates
February 6, 2025
Greetings from Dr. Borgese
Tiger Families,
It was said that the groundhog saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter. However, the beautiful weather weβve enjoyed this week seems to suggest otherwise! We hope youβll come out and enjoy the evening with us at Paint Night tonight from 5:30β7:00 p.m. Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to connect, build community, and celebrate the strong partnerships that make our school such a special place.
I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our small but mighty PTA. Their continued dedication, time, and support play an essential role in enriching the experiences we are able to provide for our students and families. We are truly grateful for all they do for our school community. If you are interested in joining our PTA in any capacity, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Next week, our 6th grade students will be heading to Outdoor Science Camp from Wednesday through Friday. This is a meaningful and memorable experience that provides students with hands-on learning opportunities, team-building activities, and time to grow in independence and confidence. Outdoor Science Camp is a highlight of the elementary years, and we know our students will represent our school with pride while creating lasting memories.
Warmly,
Dr. Borgese
Principal

Tynes Tigers "ROAR" π
We are in the process of updating our schoolwide behavior expectations. Our current expectations, PAWS-R, are being reimagined as ROAR, and we want input from our entire school community to help shape what each letter represents.
This short survey gives you the opportunity to review possible options and vote for your top recommendation for the letters R, O, and A. Your feedback will help us create expectations that reflect our shared values and support a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment for all Tynes Tigers.
Thank you for taking a moment to share your voice and help us get ready to ROAR!
