Principal's Message - April Edition
Dear Carberry Elementary Families,
Thank you all so much for the wonderful turnout at our Parent-Teacher Conferences! It was truly a pleasure to connect with so many of you and discuss your children’s progress. We will be wrapping up any missed conferences during the first week of April, so please reach out to your child’s teacher if you still need to schedule a time.
We are excited to announce the launch of our Math Intervention program, which will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays leading up to the ISAT testing in early May. This program is designed to provide extra support and targeted instruction to help our students achieve their best.
Our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) teams have been diligently analyzing our school-wide data from the past year. We’ve identified that disruption and defiance are our primary areas of focus. We appreciate your continued partnership in reinforcing positive behavior at home. Please take time to have conversations with your children about the importance of respecting teachers and fellow students. Your support in addressing these issues is invaluable. If you have any suggestions or feedback regarding our PBIS supports, we encourage you to share them with the office or email your child’s teacher directly.
Finally, we’ve added a “Brag Board” in the school’s entry! We invite you to share any positive experiences or compliments about Carberry Elementary and our staff. Your kind words and support mean the world to us.
Thank you for being such a supportive and engaged community. We look forward to a successful and productive April!
Warmly,
Greg Alexander
Principal,Carberry Elementary
